Last week I was side tracked when I found Amomaxia, but it started with Dogging because I saw it on the Map of Human Sexuality. It was in the Voyeurism/Exhibition state and was the only term I couldn’t guess at (and hoped it wasn’t a misplaced word like Bastinado was).
Thankfully I see Dogging has nothing to do with actual animals. It has nothing to do with dressing up like one either.

This edition is a bit more direct as to what Hogtying is. A hogtie is when you loop rope around a pig’s (or livestock) front and hind legs in a bundle under them so that it cannot run away or to make it easier for a person to carry a dead animal off.
But why would anyone ever do that to a person?

I was traveling the Map of Human Sexuality when I came across the State of Impact Play, and noticed one of the towns in the counties was misplaced!
Although Bastinado IS impact play, it really falls under Body Part Torture.
Bastinado is the hitting, flogging, or caning of the soles of feet specifically.
This practice is usually seen in BDSM, and has deep roots. Favored by Turkey, Persia, China and the Middle East because it is extremely painful, and it leaves few physical marks; evidence can be detected via ultrasound.
