I was trolling twitter (as I do daily), and one of my twitter friends, @Vukizzle mentioned a term, or part of a term in a tweet.  I figured, if she didn’t know what it was called, and I didn’t know what it meant, that some of you might not know what it is either…

Dear Jane: Where Do I Get Pony Play Gear?

My girlfriend wants a pony–me! However, we can’t seem to find any places online that is a good store for pony play gear. Do you have any suggestions?

There are a few places I can send you to that I know of and some tips on how to get the effects and stick to a budget.  Unfortunately _______ play fetishists need deep pockets depending on how real they want to get.  Doesn’t matter which, but the bigger the animal and the more real you want to get, the more money it is going to cost.

BUT the gear is beautiful, and crafted well, and really helps you both get into the head space required to have a good time with it.  You’ll feel more proud as a pony in good gear too.

    Sexlopedia: Retifism

    A word ending in “ism” in the sexlopedia will usually be associated with a fetish, it will pertain to a “belief”.  A word ending in “phile or philiac” pertains to the person who has love/obsession or attraction to something (ending in “philia” is the obsession itself).

    Retifism is the love for shoes.  A retifialic is a person who LOVES shoes, is obsessed with shoes, who is so attracted to shoes – they can get the person off.  I’m not talking about your above average woman with a closet full of shoes because she likes them.  I’m talking about the people who masturbate with shoes, the mere idea of touching a shoe sends a sexual shock-wave to their genitals.

    Not feet, not boots, not toes… but the shoe itself.  Heels and sneakers are included.

    Retif- the root of the word, originates with Nicholas-Edme Rétif a French novelist who was an enemy of the Marquis de Sade.  He wrote a story in which the narrator steals shoes from his employer’s wife and kisses one shoe while he ejaculates into the other.

    A BDSM & SSC Primer
