LONDON—Yorkshire, England-born adult performer Savannah Gold, who performed from 2004-2010 before reportedly putting her adult career on hold and moving back to the U.K., has been assaulted and seriously injured by a male intruder at her home, according to news reports.

The Sun reported Tuesday that Shohidul Islam, 26, turned up at Gold’s Lambeth home, where he “throttled her with a rope and bashed her with a plant pot” before also cutting her throat.

Neighbors responded to her screams and found the 26-year-old Gold alive but with blood pouring from her wound.

Islam was apprehended, admitting that he had committed the crime with the initial intent to rob her, and was sentenced to eight years, according to the paper, which also reported that he had earlier robbed two bookies with a fake gun.

iafd.com lists 98 credits for Gold, the last being several titles in 2010, including Baby Got Boobs 3 for Jules Jordan Video,Bananass for Bluebird Films and MILF Crazy for Exquisite.

There is no further word at this time regarding Gold’s condition.
