Fun:

I was playing with Form 3 at work when it was delivered. I checked the flexibility and how thin the membrane is. It was a bit thicker than I thought, but hopefully in time and use the membrane will have more give in the center where my finger pushes down. It was flexible though, I liked how I can push on the edge. The charging dock worked well, and I enjoy how JimmyJane is using the same bases.

Using it was very interesting. It doesn’t live up to the romanticized dreams of what it could be, but it was different. I haven’t used a vibe so thin before. It can really get in between folds without manipulation of my vulva. Usually if you try to squeeze a bullet or egg between your thighs, since it is round, it sits funny.

The folded pressure of the edges and my finger felt really good too. I can easily get off with this toy. I thought if it was less wide, I’d like it more, but then the membrane wouldn’t work out as well either. The outer-ridge catches the vibrations best I found. I like how the silicone has the rubbery texture instead of the ultra smooth texture, with a little lube I can make the Form 3 lick me and it mimics a firm tongue like feeling. I’m not saying OMG IT FEELS EXACTLY LIKE A TONGUE, it was just an analogy.

It worked fine in the shower, the charge held great, I can’t find anything wrong with this vibe other than the membrane doesn’t live up to the hype. I passed it onto a friend briefly and she said it was “interesting” as well.

In Conclusion:

If you didn’t over dramatize, and let your imagination run wild, then there is nothing to lose by getting the Form 3 for yourself. Ultimately, it got me off, its made of great material, rechargeable and since I didn’t pay for it, I feel even better about owning one… it also made me wonder how the Form 2 feels. Review: Lia Magic Wand

Review: Zara by Vida Internationale / Topco Sales

This sleek toy came to me by surprise, Topco had asked me to make a list of stuff I was interested in and they forwarded me this toy while I waited for my goodies. I opened the unsuspecting brown box to find a cute faux leather carrying case with “Vida” imprinted on the front. Curiousity unzipped the case to reveal to me a 7″ black and pink, Zara vibe hidden inside that seemed to be made of metal and ultra hygenic silicone.

My first thoughts were to grab some batteries, but further inspection of my surprise package revealed that it was rechargeable. I crossed my fingers, closed my eyes, and held down the single button controller to see if it was charged in the package… AND IT WAS! I love when that happens.

It buzzed to life in my fingers, a buzzy treble like vibe – not a rumbly bass’y vibe. Kinda like Lelo’s Nea, hm. I clicked the button again to see if it had another speed and I’m pleased to report back that the Zara has 5 distinguishable speeds.

Fun:

While at work, I charged the toy further, after all I didn’t know just how much juice Zara had and I didn’t need it to go dead at any pinnacle moments. Its a nice perk to be able to charge my new toys at work, unlike the rest of you who have to wait…tehe.

I caught a couple hours alone later that night and set up my station. Since Zara is made of silicone I took out a water based lube (Climax Bursts Tingle, if you must know), a movie I’m reviewing (Fuck Sasha Grey) and my towel to mop up the potential aftermath.

To cycle through the speeds you have to turn it on (hold the button for a few seconds) and click it again and again for each of the speeds (5 in total). Turning the toy off was easy too (hold the button for a few seconds again).

Zara is cold to the touch and a little heavier than you’d expect it to be because of the materials, but it warms up just fine and has a great shape to it. I used it to warm myself up, tested the speeds on my nipples and breasts, slid it around my vulva teasing myself. The rounded head shape is really nice, some G-Spot toys are too pointy, I don’t understand that… why would you -poke- the G-Spot when you could -rub- it with something round.

I really like how silicone changes when lube is put on it, the material becomes almost like a tongue – rough, but slippery. As my movie progressed, and my arousal from the buzzing of the Zara heightened, I slid it into me slowly looking for my G-Spot. Review: Rock-Chick

An award winning silicone toy, with a curiously tantalizing design. This purple toy will tickle your interests but does it do anything else?

The curved end used to stimulate the elusive g-spot, while the ridged end rests on the clitoris. Now here is where the name of “The Rock-Chick” comes into play. You place the rock chick in, sit down and rock away. The ridges should rub against the clit while the curve hit the g-spot. Designed of durable yet soft silicone this product should be a winner…it should be BRILLIANT!!

The idea of this design sounds amazing, but it falls extremely short of that. I have to admit, I got sucked into its design and was ready to play. When I took it home I discovered tons of flaws, I hope you enjoy while I go through them.

1-As rounded as this toy looks, it actually has square edges along the body of the g-spot curve. There is no mistaking that when its inside, it feels rigidly uncomfortable.

2-I will give the design tons of credit, brilliant idea to get both working at once (clit/gspot) but poor choice in assuming that is the distance to every woman’s g-spot is the same. Every woman is built differently, that is why there are a million different toys out there. This basically poked my pelvic bone for a good 20 minutes. Yes I know, I am an idiot for trying to 20 minutes, but I gave it the college try. Go big or go home huh?

3-Silicone is a genius idea for toys, its easy to sanitize, holds up well and slides in soooo effortlessly. Silicone does transfer vibration the best too. It truly is the future of toy technology, however when you have such a thick piece of silicone it is very hard for any vibration to reach from the bullet to the very end of the g-spot curve.

4-The push start bullet, they make great toys for on-the-go kind of stuff, but if you want to go all kinds of crazy with a push start bullet? It isn’t going to do the trick. Even the strongest RO-88mm bullet this company uses isn’t for the gal who likes power. Anything that runs on 3 watch batteries isn’t going to last long, and only tend to have 1 speed. By the time you figure out the learning curve with this toy, you’re probably going to have to spend $10 just to get new batteries!

This toy is great for a work out. For all of us who want to “believe” in what the Rock Chick promotes and bought it, I hope you have better luck than I did. I believe the company pushed some great ideas and it should have been done for me; but alas it did not. The only good factor involved in this toy is the silicone. If you still want to try it, my suggestion is to not try this for your first toy. The more experienced toy user might try it and might find better success.

We will tell anyone who is looking to go to any other sex shop that one way to figure out if the person behind the counter knows their shit is to ask about Lubricant. There are other ways, but lube is a good place to start.

Lube is important, it helps things happen and is totally essential to have a good time. If your body produces enough of it, then power to ya, but some people need a little help. There are many outside forces that can screw up the chemistry in your body to make it not lubricate itself (I’m talking to the ladies right now)…. birth control messes with wetness it usually drys you up, antidepressants and anti anxiety medicines usually drops sexual desire/libido, other meds for your heart could do it too.

But its ok, sex doesn’t have to be painful – in fact, if it is, you need to fix that, and we have just the info for ya.

There are three main types of lubricant and there are some key words you need to look/ask for if you’re standing in front of a wall of it in a store. So many choices, which one to pick? We feel that picking a lubricant is sort of like one of those ‘choose your own adventure’ books – the decision you make WILL affect your sex life!

Oil Based Lubricants are usually a little difficult to come by, and could be used for sex but if you love yourself, you wont use them for sex. Guys, these are great to masturbate with. It’ll make you think you brought your cock to a spa. Try Elbow Grease. They have several formulas this is the original formula.Gay men sometimes use it for anal, but an oily greasy butt and beyond isn’t great to deal with after the act. Trust us on that. Silicone Based Lubricants are special, high end, and are more expensive. There are basically two types of silicone lubricants. One is a Body Glide, it is thinner and silky. The other silicone lube is thicker and is more ‘lubey’, it has almost the same viscosity of a regular lube. Silicone stays wetter longer, but you have to use soap and water to wash it off. We recommend baby wipes. You can use it for anything involving sex, you can put it on your skin for massage, masturbate with it. DO NOT USE SILICONE LUBRICANT WITH SILICONE TOYS. Some manufacturers (like Tantus- because they use the highest grade silicone for their toys) will say that you can, but it is usually a bad idea. Just like Oil breaks down latex, silicone is a cannibal and chemically breaks down itself.

High end silicone lubricants include Eros, Pjur, and Gel Sensual (they are hypoallergenic!). Lower end silicone lubricants include Wet Platinum, ID Millennium, Climax and Gun Oil. Most lube companies make water, silicone, stimulant and flavored lubricant formulas YOU MUST READ THE BOTTLES!

But at quick glance, if the bottle is green, silver, black or brown it is usually silicone based. If it is blue it is usually a regular formula. Purple or pink usually means it tingles (by using either L’Arginine or Menthol), or is their organic/glycerin free formula. Whacky colors usually denote flavors and red/orange usually means it warms.

Beware of Anal Lubricants. I know most of you want to numb your asses so you don’t feel it. But pain is your body’s natural response to something bad. It is telling you to slow the fuck down, relax and have some patience. Beware of anything with lydocaine or benzocaine in it. IF ANAL SEX HURTS, YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG. Use a regular anal sex lubricant, they are usually just a little thicker. Your ass doesn’t lubricate itself like a vagina does, so they make the lubes thicker.
