OK Ok ok… I’ll admit it. I watch this show. I, I just can’t help not to admit it anymore. Glee used to be my dirty little secret, but I can’t help it. I miss these days; TV did a fun show like this about choir instead of band, and my inner band geek (bass clarinet represent!) still can’t help but to squee when they break into song.
Judge me if you will, but Glee is a good show! Based on the trials and angst of a high school Glee Club, each person with their own faults, strengths and personalities; they struggle and make strides to find “their voice”. In the mean time doing their version of all sorts of great music ranging from an all Madonna show to doing mash-ups of today’s current music and rock from AC/DC and Aerosmith. There is a good lesson learned at the end of each show but most importantly this show is about supporting one another and getting back up if life has knocked you down.
The cameo’s alone are awesome too, you really never know which actor out there has a soft spot for their Glee Club roots.
