Sometimes you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone – in this case – I lost my HBO.
My landlord bullied me into getting Verizon Cable (I hate it, HATE IT) but she promised my rent would go down, and every channel, on demand capability and dvr service – so I let it go.
UNTIL this week. She canceled HBO without telling me, and I couldn’t watch True Blood or Hung this week – all because of $17 I would GLADLY pay if she asked me. I know I could pirate it, but I don’t have the time, and I don’t want to watch it on my computer anyway; I have a HUGE SCREEN tv at home. After a 60+ hr week I like to unwind with some boob tube, is that SUCH a crime? ugh.
Anywho – Hung is turning out to be a fun show to watch. The main character’s (played by Thomas Jane) house burns down in the first couple of episodes, gets his budget cut at work where he is a history/gym teacher/coach … oh… and his wife leaves him for a weasely asshole. Thing is, he is good in bed AND hung, so he becomes a male prostitute. Along with his odd female new age pimp, and clients – hilarity, heartache and humping ensues.
